Mi vida en españa

The time here has been full of suprises, delights, adjustments, new friends and just wonderful experiences. Right now not even my flu is getting me down. Spring has started and yesterday we were able to have lunch on a terrace not wearing our jackets!

I´m trying to live my time here day by day, not rushing anywhere and not planning too much. But I´m dying to start travelling around spain and I´m even thinking of perhaps going to Portugal. After the exams in May there´s a possibility that I´ll do a interrail trip through Europe when heading home. We´ll see how all this is possible..

The schol here feels like high school but luckily I´m here to study the spanish way of life and their culture..not that much economics or any other actual subjects!

Hola amigos!

Everything is going better than expected! And even better after I get used to the spanish way of life...that everything is not taken care as efficiently as in Finland. Still haven´t had any lectures but actually I really don´t mind. There´s a great gym at the campus so I´m gonna go there tomorrow. Gotta watch out for not taking it too easy...

I´ve got a great group of friends around me and we are already having so much fun! Planning and living our exchange as fully as we possibly can. I´m loving that I found a great flat so easily and I´m already falling in love with the city! I haven´t been a real tourist yet and I don´t have good pictures YET. But I´ll promise to add them asap. We´ll do a tourist sunday this week with friends and try to see as many attractions as we can..

And that´s where we were last night! Amazing..

 I found an apartment and I´m gonna move in a bit later today! Nice flat right in the centre. Just waiting to get my bags unbacked and clothes washed etc. I´ll write more later!

Hola!

Still at the hostel... but I have three apartments of which I´ll propably choose tomorrow. I´m trying to get used to a spanish way of life. Everything is not taken care as quickly and efficiently as in finland...

Last night was my first night out. First tapas and then dancing in a few bars.Had a great time with friends from the hostel. One of them is a French girl looking for a flat so we are able to help each other out. The school starts on monday and I´m freaking out about taking the metro on my own. The campus is outside the centre and I need to follow several lines to get there. Need to take enough time to do it.

I´m off to see an American friend take a tattoo on his arm in Finnish! Then lunch, apartment hunting and sales ;) The crowds in the Finnish sales or nothing compared to this. Here one cannot go to some shops since it´s impossible to walk around and actually look at the clothes. I´m glad it´s over in a couple of days!

Finally here. Sitting in the hostel lobby...afraid that it might take time to find a flat after all. Luckily the hostel is cosy and so close to everything. Perhaps tomorrow I´ll have the strength to get to know some of the city. Right now I´m dying of exhaustion! I´ve been travelling the whole day and I still need to go out to check out an apartment.. 
I´ll write more when I actually have something to tell..
